There’s a definite nip in the air, which means the seasonal switch is here again. With its golden light and turning leaves, September is still a glorious month to get out and about with the kids. However, autumnal walks in the park require extra layers. From pom-pom adorned scarves to cute corduroy dresses and trousers, the new John Lewis & Partners collection for boys and girls includes pieces you’ll love as much as the kids do. Dark shades are accentuated with pops of colour, like the khaki cargo pants with punchy orange turn-ups. Jogging bottoms and jumpsuits replace the shorts of summer and soft leather ankle boots take the place of sandals. Welcome to the new season. It’s beginning to feel cosy.
