Olivia Faranda is Partner and Head of Category Marketing for Home at John Lewis
She is the person in the know when it comes to all the latest home trends and what we should be investing in this season.
“Whether it is going to our showcases or seeing our home campaigns develop, I always find I am naturally drawn to products that I can visualise in my house,” explains Olivia. “There are just some swoon-worthy pieces this season that I’m in love with. They’re the sorts of products that make me ponder whether I should change an entire room aesthetic just to have them in my life,” she concludes.
1. Burrow Chair
'I love this chair, mainly because of its clean lines and the wood that seamlessly flows around the back.'
2. Bobbin Table Lamp
'What is not to like about this cute lamp? I love the shade and it looks great with the solid block base.'
3. Anders Display Cabinet
'I'm a big fan of curiosity cabinets, and I like this one for its more modern and simple approach. I especially like the height of the legs and the wooden detail on the bottom part of the door.'
4. Loft Stripe Cushion, Graphite
'I really like the beautiful detailing on all of our cushions this season but this Loft cushion speaks to my love of geometric prints and clean lines.'
5. Matt Wood Black Tray
'I love creating home moments throughout my house, so I love that I could use this tray to display a collection of other smaller homewares.'
6. Linen Stitch Embroidery Bedlinen
'I love the relaxed look of linen in the bedroom and I think the stitch detailing is gorgeous.'
7. Sophie Conran x John Lewis Cocobella Sofa
'I love this new collaboration with Sophie Conran. I am a massive fan of our striped products this season but this is by far my most favourite piece. Not only does it look fabulous but it is possibly one of the best sofas I have ever sat on.'
8. John Lewis + Matthew Williamson Bobbin Floor Lamp Base, Red
'We have seen bobbin furniture for a couple of seasons now, but I am loving how we continue to evolve the bobbin look. I love the double bobbin effect in this red floor lamp, paired with the Bold Stripe Red Lampshade.'
9. Collagerie Botany Leaf Cushion
'I am obsessed with the detailing of our cushions this season and this style was probably the most intricate. It just looks amazing.'
10. Green Botanic Vine Bedspread
'I love the colour palette and the gorgeous fabrics used for this bedspread.'
