The DMC stranded cotton shades used in this cross stitch reproduction of Renoir's "The Skiff" are approved for colour accuracy by the experts at The National Gallery. Pierre-Auguste Renoir was among the first group of French Impressionists and "The Skiff" is one of his open air boating scenes on the Seine painted during the 1870s.
