Fujifilm are premiering their X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X Processor Pro for sharper photography at obscene speeds. The 24.3MP sensor has the highest pixel count in the brand’s X-series, delivering finite detail perfect for sweeping cityscapes. Running approximately four-times faster than a conventional Fujifilm model, the X Processor Pro allows for quicker, more whimsical photography. The EVF’s 85fps display speed lets you track a moving subject with more efficiency, while compressed RAW films are now supported for greater versatility. Together with other features like the low-light shot enhancing 51200 ISO, this camera is incredibly powerful.

Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder
Snapping pictures as you want them takes a top-quality viewfinder. Fujifilm have engineered not just one, but three options – an Electronic viewfinder (EVF), Optical Viewfinder (OVF) and Electronic Rangefinder (ERF). The EVF shows the image information on the LCD screen and the OVF on the optical image. The unique ERF enlarges the focus area on the optical viewfinder, giving you a clearer view on the subject. The X-Pro 2 features a joystick-like Focus Lever on the back, so you can adjust focus instantly. Whether you’re on Autofocus (AF) or Manual Focus (MF) mode, you’ll be able to tinker your subject on-the-move, letting you work fluidly with your surroundings. Not only is the AF super-fast, Fujifilm have expanded the Phase Detection area from 49 points to 77. This way, 40% of the image area is covered, so you keep track of fast-moving action like sports.

Intuitive Interface
With its ergonomic design and practical dial placement, this camera will feel like another limb. Adjust shutter speed and ISO at the same time with the lifting Dual Function ISO dial, use the Front Command dial to set intermediate shutter speeds or Exposure Compensation if the feature’s switch is set to ‘C’. Together with this convenient hardware design, the software lets you save up to 16 quick-actions in a ‘My Menu’ section. This way, the LCD display is as intuitive as the body’s dials.
