Picture a gondola cruising under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. Our designers did just that, drawing on the gentle curves of a Venetian gondola as the inspiration for sleekly styled Gondola.

It's hardly a good gondola without a comfortable seat, so the plump cushioning on the seat makes it a welcoming perching spot.

This bench features rattan weave side inserts – but this isn’t the rattan you might recognise from your granny’s conservatory. The relatively simple weave is a bit more contemporary than the ornately styled rattan furniture from its '60s and '70s heyday, and was chosen for its low maintenance and high durability.

It's all beautifully held together by an oak wood frame, solid and sturdy.
