John Lewis & Partners Cashmere V-Neck Cardigan

Every wardrobe needs a piece you can throw on and go that still looks smart - that's why we designed this pure cashmere cardigan, a contemporary option that doesn't skimp on comfort. We used extra deep raglan armholes and neckline to give a nod to the athleisure trend, as well as accentuating the fashioning stitches on the underarm and adding deflected ribbing to the hem.

Cut to a longer line, it's a seasonless piece made in a heavier weight cashmere - wear it as an alternative to a jacket in trans-seasonal weather and as a layering piece in the cold.

Because 100% cashmere means just that, this foundation piece is knitted using a yarn spun uniquely for us, and we've used cashmere knitted tape to support the neat seams. Longer in length, it combines simple modernity with a relaxed fit.

Good to know: we've added in spare cashmere yarn in case it needs mending and so you have something to match if you're shopping for accessories.
