This cotton bedspread features classic quilting and the Wandle print.
Wandle was designed by Morris in 1884 and named after the river that ran next to Morris’s Merton Abbey workshops. Wandle water was used to rinse the dye from the fabrics, so Morris named the design in honour of "the helpful stream."
