A pair of Paul Gauguin prints: Haymaking (1889) and Landscape in Arles near the Alyscamps (1888). Supplied unframed with mounts.
Gauguin was born in Paris, the son of a journalist, in 1848. He developed the style known as Synthetism during visits to Pont-Aven in Brittany between 1886 and 1890. Public recognition of his talent came posthumously with an exhibition of his work in Paris in 1906.
