Royal Doulton's 1815 collection commemorates the year John Doulton founded his now world-famous pottery. The 1815 pattern's colourful dipped glazes are linked by a strong visual signature of embossed detail and shape, delivering a handcrafted, artisan quality, all inspired by the founding year and complete with 1815 stamps.
The 1815 Bold range is exclusive to John Lewis & Partners and features colour block patterns and painterly sweeps of colour in aqua, lilac and red making an unexpected contrast against hand-thrown white porcelain.
