It’s designed to fasten seamlessly to the R1 Mk4, and can be left permanently attached, automatically recharging whenever you do plug the radio in. A full charge will keep you in portable playing power for up to twelve hours. More than enough to keep the tunes flowing.
And it enters an ultra-low power state to conserve energy when the R1 is unplugged and on standby (this mode disables the screen but the alarm function still works …ideal to wake you up from that cheeky garden snooze…)
