Samsung’s unique upscaling capabilities uses a four step process which converts lower resolution content, such as live TV, to a level of near 4K Ultra-HD detail. This means that you can watch old favourites and new shows in the highest level of detail. Upscaling is a process through which a lower resolution signal or data source is displayed at a higher resolution. The upscaling process interpolates additional pixels from the source data, and produces a clearer picture on your 4K screen than a non-upscaled image.

Curved Screen
Samsung’s curved Ultra-High Definition screen is designed to give you an immersive new TV experience that you will vanish in. The edges of the curved screen will feel like they surround you, while Samsung's exclusive Auto Depth Enhancer technology creates images with a deeper 3D-like quality. The curve radius works in perfect harmony with its 48-inch screen size.
