Let's start first with that soft cushioning. Switching our their Everun midsole for PWRRUN+, the new composition is 25% lighter than its predecessor, with a responsive and structured feel that's built for long-distance comfort. 3x more durable and temperature resistant than EVA foams, 2x as flexible as standard cushioning, and with 5% more impact absorption than Saucony's "previous best" foam, this is running made easy (well, easier; you'll still need to put in some effort).

All this cushioning doesn't mean having to sacrifice form either. After all, if you wanted pure comfort, you'd probably just run with pillows strapped to your feet. Shaped for neutral foot positioning that'll help you avoid long term injury in the Achilles and uneven weight distribution during take-off and landing, these were made for more than just a casual 5km in the park. Their well-controlled, balanced construction means that you'll be racing in these when you want to perform at your best.

And who could forget about the breathable mesh upper, allowing the foot to flex naturally whilst still providing long-term comfort and security as you progress through your natural gait cycle. Even the sole has been shaped in a rubber compound for optimum grip. Most of the mid and forefoot use a smooth rubber-stamped into an arrow pattern, while the heel and toe — the highest-wear areas — employ a grippier compound for improved traction on landing and takeoff.
