Founded in 1607 by King Karl IX of Sweden, the Skultuna brass foundry is still a curator for the Royal Court of Sweden. Using fine metal to create objects for both everyday and special use, the values of quality and design are as present today as they were over 400 years ago.
This dinner bell, inspired by school bells from the early 19th century, has a modern design and would sit well in the board room or on the top table at a wedding.

Over four hundred years ago, in 1607, King Karl IX of Sweden founded Skultuna as a brass foundry, with the ambition to reduce imports of brass and instead increase the country’s income from exports. Braziers were drafted from existing foundries from Germany and the Netherlands, and with them they brought expertise on how to make large brass objects. In its centuries old history the company has dealt with floods and fires, but it has battled against the odds to become an internationally recognised brand. Having been awarded numerous design awards Skultuna now often exhibit at design fairs across Europe, working with renowned designers to produce beautifully designed, quality home accessories from brass.More from Skultuna
