Susan Caplan Pre-Loved Chanel Logo Byzantine Medallion Pendant Necklace

Part of their medallion era, this gold-plated pendant necklace boasts a ribbed Byzantine round pendant with open work interlocking "CC" logo hanging from an oval link chain. The style is secured with a spring ring closure and is signed Chanel on an authenticity tag.

Medallion decoration was often incorporated into Chanel's jewellery. Victoire De Castellane started her career with Chanel in 1984 and continued this ornamental and decorative detail throughout her 15 years of heading Chanel's costume jewellery department. Victoire De Castellane is now Creative Director for Dior Joaillerie.
