This easy-to-store cardboard box with lid features cute characters from the Savannah Adventures collection and is bound to delight children with the many imaginative play activities on offer. Included with the Magic Box are five organza tissues, five colourful balls, two of which are soft while three are textured for additional sensory input, plus five double-sided ‘feeding’ cards.
The lightweight tissues can be pushed through the central hole in the lid and later can be pulled back out either through the larger hole for smaller hands or through the feeder holes at the side to further develop motor skills. These are also perfect for sensory play and help little ones to understand about filling and emptying spaces, while refining their coordination skills. Using the five balls, baby can post these through the hole in the hole and be amazed as these pop back out through the side also teaching them about object permanence. Likewise, posting the ‘feeding’ cards through the lion’s mouth will help develop emotional intelligence and imaginary play, plus the reverse side of the cards helps instil an early understanding of colours and counting.
