Vintage Fine Jewellery Pre-Loved 18ct Yellow & White Gold Solitaire Diamond Ring, Dated Circa 2000s

With a solitaire colourless, emerald-cut diamond, this ring is a great example of simple, luxurious style. The diamond is claw set in white gold and sits upon yellow gold shoulders, both 18cts. The ring was thought to have been made circa the 2000s.

The emerald cut is a type of square cut but with tapered corners. It has fewer facets than the round brilliant cut, thus reducing the brilliance and light reflection. However, this cut makes the diamond more sophisticated and gives it a very unique finish.

Approximate total diamond weight: 0.15ct. The diamond has been graded colour F and clarity VS1 which fall into the following groups:

Colourless D-F - Diamonds in this colour grading are the rarest and as a result, the most expensive ones. Given their absence of colour, D-F diamonds tend to be set in white gold or platinum, since these metals don't reflect colour and make the best choice for showcasing the stones.

Very Slightly Included (VS1 and VS2) - Inclusions are observed with effort under 10x magnification and are defined as minor. The inclusions are not visible to the naked eye.
