Forever synonymous with the British countryside, Barbour’s collections span from the best practical country clothing to fashion-forward lifestyle collections, including womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. To this day Barbour’s ranges continue to be inspired by the company’s archives which date back to 1910 and each season classic designs are re-interpreted into modern, contemporary silhouettes.
The Barbour International brand is inspired by Barbour’s motorcycling heritage since 1936.In 1936, Duncan Barbour, introduced into the range a one-piece suit called the Barbour International. Developed specifically for the 1936 International Six Days Trial (ISDT) event, and hence its name, the Barbour International Suit became so popular that it was worn by almost every British team and many other international teams right up until 1977. At the 1964 ISDT in East Germany, the international suit was worn by the US team which included actor Steve McQueen. Collections span womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, footwear and accessories.
