This durable design holds up to 800ml of filtered water or 1.3 litres in total. 500ml is held within the inner funnel if the main body is full of 800ml of water. Once used from the 800ml, the 500ml will filter through. An electronic 'memo' on the carafe reminds you when it's time to replace the MicroDisc. MicroDisc filter refills are available to buy.
