Product information

With the Canon PowerShot SX60 HS, it's possible to explore details from a distance and capture stunning ultra-wide landscapes thanks to the versatile zoom lens. Featuring an electronic viewfinder, a range of controls for both beginners and experts as well as built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, the PowerShot SX60 is a high quality bridge camera with quality and comfort in mind.

Ultra-far, Ultra-wide
With the SX60, you don't have to choose between wide angle and superzoom. At 21mm at it's widest, the SX60 is great for taking photos of landscapes and fitting everything in one shot. To get closer to your subject, crank up the optical zoom as far as 65x for incredible magnification of long distance subjects.

High resolution photos and videos
A 16.1 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor and Canon Digic 6 image processor combine to form Canon's HS systems, delivering excellent performance, even in low light. Record videos at Full HD resolution and shoot incredibly detailed photos, wherever you are.

Suitable for beginners and experts
With a variety of modes available, it's easy for anyone to pick up the SX60 and start taking amazing photos and videos. Smart Auto mode gauges the conditions for you and chooses the optimum settings for your photos and videos. Alternatively, there are a range of different exposure modes including Manual mode that will let you fully explore your creative skills.

Keeping track
The Zoom Framing Assist button makes it easy to keep track of subjects moving when zoomed in. When pressed, it'll quickly zoom the camera out of the scene so you can relocate your subject, and then zoom back in as you release the button. The improved Auto Mode helps too, identifying when a subject begins to leave your frame and zooming out automatically. It'll also help you keep your subject at one size.

Steady shooting
Take steadier shots, even at full zoom, and shoot for longer thanks to the ergonomic grip. Frame your subjects with ease using the Electronic Viewfinder. Zoom in quickly and quietly, thanks to the Ultra Sonic Motor (USM). Prevent blur from camera shake with the Enhanced Dynamic Image Stabiliser. The SX60 is kitted out to ensure comfortable use and excellent, stable results.

Wireless Connections
Built-in Wi-Fi will let you upload images and videos straight to social networks from the SX60, while the Mobile Device Connect Button and NFC make it easy to transfer photos straight to a compatible smartphone or tablet. You can even remotely control the camera with the Canon CameraWindow app.
