Christy Trilby Panama Hat, Ivory/Green

Christys’ Trilby Panama in semi-bleached. Woven in Ecuador and made in England, made from Grade 1 woven hood with a fabric inner head band.

Despite their name, Panama hats have never been made in Panama, they originate from Ecuador where they have been woven since the mid-1600s. Christys’ produces its Panama hat hoods in Ecuador using traditional weaving to craft a rough coned shape. After shaping/blocking the hats are finished with a quality ribbon in its factory in Oxfordshire, England to the highest traditional standards.
