The fashion B Corp brands making responsible styles
Support the brands reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit
Today, more and more brands in the fashion industry are seeking B Corp status. This sustainability certification means the brand has met rigorous social and environmental standards (from waste and water use to worker compensation), which represent its commitment to goals outside of profit.
B Corp status is super important because it suggests the company is working hard to make a difference, and it is taking matters on everything from accountability to transparency seriously (no greenwashing, in other words).
Below, six B Corp certified fashion brands we're proud to support at John Lewis.
VEJA
The French brand takes transparency, social and environmental responsibility seriously, sourcing wild rubber from the Amazon for the soles and organic or recycled materials for the canvas and laces. VEJA’s trainers are ultra-wearable, and the brand is an inspiring example of how purpose and fashion can work in harmony to create a global success story.
Endura
Founded and based in Scotland, international cycling brand Endura makes clothing and protection (read: helmets) for men and women of all cycling disciplines. Cycling is rightly viewed as an environmentally friendly sport (two wheels are better than four), so B Corp and Endura are a natural fit.

Cape Cove
A force for good, Cape Cove is a female-led brand for women who are passionate about water and wellness. The business only launched in April 2022, so to have become B Corp certified so quickly is a real milestone. We love their feel-good, throw-on styles, and that their goal is to become a fully regenerative business that gives back more than it takes.
Berghaus
British outdoor brand Berghaus has a global reputation for quality products built to last. Founded in 1966 by two Geordie climbers (who simply wanted to create better outerwear), the brand believes the best of life is lived outdoors – so it makes sense that they want to minimise their impact on the planet.
JoJo Maman Bébé
JoJo launched in 1993 as a one woman start-up. Today, it is a B Corp certified brand and leading multi-channel retailer across the UK and Ireland. JoJo takes pride in creating cute collections for babies and children while retaining its values of putting people and the planet above profit (think renewable energy in UK stores and responsible wool for clothing).
Baukjen
The London-based, family-run fashion company (also home to Isabella Oliver maternity wear) is laser focused on environmental and ethical style. From paying living wages throughout the supply chain to sourcing innovative fibres for their styles, House of Baukjen cares deeply about the planet and its people (and makes rather nice styles at the same time).
