Free to be ourselves. Whoever we are. Whoever we love. We’re celebrating Pride and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
At John Lewis, we take pride in being a long-standing supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community – not only during Pride Month, but all 365 days of the year. Because we know we’re at our best when we have the freedom and acceptance to be ourselves, however we identify and whoever we love. That’s why we continue to celebrate Pride – in 2026 and every other year – and support the LGBTQIA+ community, both within John Lewis and beyond.
This year, celebrate Pride with us – select stores are representing John Lewis & Partners by joining the annual parades across the country, as well as displaying bright and beautiful shop windows. See you there!
We are proud of our Partners
The Partnership was founded with the principles of humanity and equality for all at its heart. Our LGBTQIA+ Network, Pride in the Partnership (PiP), is an active community with more than 1,000 members. The network is focused on enriching the happiness of Partners through providing a safe space for members to share their experiences. We’re passionate about making sure all our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies feel visible, respected and supported at all times.
Belonging, all year round
We support Partners through Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) training to drive equality and respect within the workplace and in-store. We have the ambition of becoming the UK’s most inclusive business; this means creating a culture of belonging where we can all be ourselves, without fear or judgement, no matter our background, identity or circumstances. To support all Partners we have launched an allyship program which consists of three modules: the Fundamentals of Allyship eLearning, which looks at what an ally is and how to recognise your privilege; the Active Allyship eLearning, which explores how to be an ally every day; and the Authentic Allyship virtual workshop, which gives you a chance to put your learning into practice with other Partners by exploring the challenges faced when being an authentic ally.
