Model number: The recall is for Lumie Bedbug Lamps supplied with a 'Blue Iron' brand power adapter, with the model number: BI12T-050150-ADB

Serial Numbers:: Between 2017/1300001 and 2017/1305870 or 2018/1300001 and 2018/1301260

The safety of our customers is very important to us, so as a precaution we’re recalling this product from sale immediately. The supplier has requested the recall due to a small number of failures of the power adapter which was previously supplied with the Lumie Bedbug. The failure of a component within the power adapter results in the outer casing being forced apart and creating a risk of electrocution. Should this failure occur it may also lead to a fire hazard. 

If you've bought one of these items with the affected serial numbers since 28 July 2017 from a John Lewis shop or johnlewis.com, please stop using it, and contact Lumie Customer Care on the below details to get a replacement power adapter. If you prefer, you may return the product to your nearest John Lewis shop for a full refund or to exchange it for an alternative product.
