Convenient use
At just 5.5kg this vacuum is easier to lift up stairs and move around the home, making the onerous task of cleaning that little bit easier. The design of the Small Ball also saves on storage space, with the retractable wand saving up to 30% more storage space than the Dyson DC40 full-size vacuum cleaner. The improved stability of this machine also allows you to manoeuvre easily around furniture, obstacles and into difficult places.

Compatible design
With Dyson’s latest Ball™ technology, even more of the vacuum’s key components are located inside the ball itself. This reduces clutter on the outside of the machine, streamlining its profile. The reversible wand has been re-engineered for improved machine stability when not in use and it also extends up to 3 metres for high reach cleaning and accessing tight spaces. A longer cable and hose combine to provide even greater cleaning reach, which is 45% longer than previous generation, cutting down on the time it takes to clean your floors.

Advanced technology
The cleaning head on this vacuum automatically adjusts between carpets and hard floors - sealing in suction. The direct drive motor pushes bristles deeper into carpet and carbon fibre filaments remove fine dust from hard floors. The Small Ball utilises a 2 Tier Radial cyclone system with 19 cyclones, arranged across two tiers, that work in parallel to increase airflow and capture fine dust.

IMproved cleaning experience
Acoustically re-engineered to reduce noise and improve sound quality the Small Ball is 50% quieter than the previous small upright machine by Dyson. This machine also comes with a hygienic quick single button cyclone release and bin empty, meaning you'll never have to touch the dirt trapped inside.
