A distinct look and feel with a 1-Inch CMOS sensor and prime lens
For the first time in X Series the X half features a 1-inch sensor. The 32mm focal length (35mm equivalent) – identical to QuickSnap one-time-use cameras – delivers high-resolution images with a distinct look and feel.

Fast and intuitive focusing
Autofocus is quick and responsive with the X half and if you prefer to focus manually then the Focus Ring lets you fine-tune your images. Equipped with Face and Eye Detection to ensure pin-sharp results on every portrait.

Film simulations
The X half includes 13 Film Simulations to further enhance your style. Each has its own unique look all inspired by analogue film.

Analogue-inspired filters
Light leaks, expired film, double exposure, and other analogue-inspired filters allow you to give your images a unique look and feel.

Grain effect
Grain Effect adds film-like grain to your images, adding an extra level of creativity to your everyday image making.

Film Camera Mode
Frame the world through an optical viewfinder, pull the lever to advance to the next frame, and relive the experience of analogue creativity. X half’s Film Camera mode recreates the joy of film photography in a digital era.

Developing your images
Once you’ve finished your film roll, it’s time to develop the images. Transfer your film roll to the X half app, where digital development begins. Your images will be processed and saved to your smartphone and app gallery.

Digital contact sheet
Alongside your images, a digital contact sheet of the entire roll is saved, allowing you to relive the story you’ve recorded.

Seamless Printing with instax Link Series
X half is compatible with instax Link series printers (available separately) allowing for instant printing of images. Supported models: instax mini Link 2, instax mini Link 3, instax SQUARE Link, instax Link WIDE.
