John Lewis Cordless Blackout Roller Blind

Product description

Product code: 66220503

A plain blackout blind which means it eliminates light and gives complete privacy. You can get a sound night’s sleep and not be disturbed by the early rising sun in the summer months

Key features:

  • Spring mechanism making it the safest blind solution
  • Can be installed either inside or outside the window recess, to the wall or ceiling
  • Width can be cut to size. Just be aware that by changing the size of the blind it reduces the overall weight, which will impact the blind's tension
  • Supplied with easy fit universal brackets
  • Warm in winter, cool in summer
As the blackout lining on this blind blocks out sunlight it helps keep your room cool as well as dark. This 3 layer blackout coating also adds an extra layer of insulation, giving the blind thermal properties which aren’t found on non-blackout blinds. It protects against both heat loss and heat gain, regulating the temperature of your room so you’re kept warm in winter and cool in summer.

The spring mechanism in this blind makes it the safest solution for rooms where there might be children as there's no cord mechanism which children can become entangled in. The spring mechanism is pre-tensioned so easy to use, simply pulling on the ring-pull attached to the bottom of the blind. It's also more discreet than a side chain as all the component parts are hidden within the blind tube.

    Worth knowing...
The width stated in our product specifications is the total width of the blind including mechanisms and brackets. The width of the fabric alone will be a few centimetres less than this.
