A colourful sky reflected on a beach by photographer Jim Robertson with a metallic-effect frame and white slip.
A liquid resin gel is applied by hand to the glass complementing key aspects of the print. The resin is clear and mixed with gold glitter to add that extra sparkle. The full effect of this hand finish is best seen in situ where the light reflects from the picture adding a subtle 3D effect to the image.
Jim Robertson was born and continues to live locally in Moray, Scotland. He has provided images for various websites and publications including The Geological Society of London, The BBC, The University of Edinburgh, Scottish Natural Heritage, Scottish Nature Photography and The Moray Council. He has had recent successes in the Landscape Photographer of The Year competition, The Scottish Nature Photography Awards, The UK Wildlife Photography Competition and The National Countryside Photography Competition.
Working mostly in and around Moray, his landscape photography reflects his interest in 'the inner landscape' or what is also referred to as 'intimate landscape photography'.
