TrueSteam removes 99.9% of bacteria and germs remaining on the dishes with hot steam generated from boiling water of 100 degrees Celsius, and is certified by TÜV Rheinland*. The steam is sprayed from the front, bottom and top of the tub to clean and sterilize all dishes. In addition, True Steam even washes away tiny minerals left on the tableware, reducing water spots and leaving the dishes shiny.

QuadWash™ is a four wash arm system that sprays water. Normally, other dishwashers have two washing arms, but LG added two more arms to improve the washing performance. Two of the arms pivot and rotate back and forth to sprinkle water, and thoroughly clean every corner without dead zones.

Results based on TUV test with LG DB475TXS model. Test was conducted with Eco program using 6 kinds of bacteria (Escherichia coli, Aspergillus vericolor, Bacillus subtils, Alternaria alternata, Micrococcus luteus, Penicillium chrysogenum).
