Nine channels of power
This nine channel (5.1.3) speaker set-up includes triple up-firing speakers in the soundbar, a wireless subwoofer, plus rear speakers, combining to produce a whopping 620W of audio power that is gloriously immersive and powerful.
Cinematic 3D sound with Dolby Atmos & DTS: X, plus IMAX Enhanced
The S80QR supports surround sound technologies Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to recreate a cinematic experience in the home. And it supports IMAX Enhanced for seamless integration with the big-screen format.
Meridian technology for High Resolution Audio
The S80QR integrates technology from Meridian, specialists in High Resolution Audio. This means studio quality sound, just as the artist intended. Based on a higher sampling rate than standard, high and low frequencies are extended for a greater level of detail across the whole sonic range.
AI Sound Pro
The upgraded AI Sound Pro algorithm automatically adjusts and optimises sound for every scene.
Smart sonics
You can control the soundbar using external Google Assistant or Alexa smart speakers, and easily stream music from your smartphone via Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 or Spotify Connect.
