This sleek Miele KM6669 ceramic glass hob with stainless steel rim is a versatile hob which delivers unique features and outstanding results every time with a stylish and contemporary look.

Features:
With 5 rings, this appliance has plenty of space for cooking on and can tackle even the biggest of meals. This versatile hob features a PowerFlex zone, which joins two temperature zones, allowing you to heat large cookware like a casserole dish quickly and easily. When paired with a compatible cooker hood, Con@ctivity 2.0 means that the cooker hood will automatically react to settings on the hob.

Auto warming
All five cooking zones are equipped with an automatic warm-up function. This sets the cooking zone to the highest setting for an initial period of time and then automatically switches back to the preset cooking temperature. You can bring a pan of water to the boil before reducing the heat to a simmer without even having to be in the kitchen. When you have finished cooking, there’s also a keep warm setting, so you can pause until you’re ready to serve the food.

Control settings
Featuring Smart Select Controls with an LED display for each cooking zone with up to 9 power levels, a three-stage residual heat indicator and a built-in timer. Plus, the hob has a child safety lock and safety cut-out protection for extra peace of mind.

Induction technology
Ultra-efficient induction works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant; it is easily controlled and energy efficient as it heats the pan, not the hob surface. Thanks to this cool-touch, the hob’s flat ceramic surface can be simply wiped clean with a damp cloth, even during cooking.

Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
