Capture hearts with this single-stone heart-shaped diamond pendant necklace. The diamond is beautifully set in a white gold rubbed-over setting and hangs from a yellow gold fixed bail loop adding a touch of contrast. The pendant hangs from an 18 inch, 18ct hallmarked chain that can also fasten at 16 inches. Both pendant and chain are hallmarked 18ct gold in Edinburgh.
The diamond has a known total weight of 0.92cts and is GIA-certified as H colour and VS2 clarity. The original GIA certificate accompanies the pendant, certificate number 3165491216 (can be viewed online at gia.edu).
Colour H fall under the group:
Near Colourless G-J - More common than D-F colour diamonds, the G-J diamonds provide a great value. Similar to D-F diamonds, these diamonds are best highlighted in white gold or platinum as the white colour of the metal enhances the colourlessness of the stone.
Clarity VS falls under the following group:
Very Slightly Included (VS1 and VS2) Inclusions are observed with effort under 10x magnification and are defined as minor. The inclusions are not visible to the naked eye.
