The practical lower shelf is perfect for storing baskets and has a sandblasted finish which adds a beautiful texture to the wood.
The mango wood used to make nkuku's wooden pieces come from mango trees that have stopped bearing fruit. This allows the farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
