An assortment of items including mattresses, beds, upholstery and large electricals that have been opened and returned by customers or were from a cancelled order. These items are thoroughly checked by our Partners for good-as-new quality and functionality before reselling them through Outlet.
Outlet items are exceptional value with up to 40% off our most recent price. They come with the same benefits as our main range products, including delivery, installation, and recycling services. Please note that our guarantee for Outlet items is limited to repairs and refunds only, rather than exchanges.

Can I still get a refund?
Yes – returns and refunds are in line with our standard terms and conditions but we can only offer a refund, not an exchange, as our stock is limited. If the item is damaged or faulty, we’ll collect it for free. If the item is not damaged or faulty, we charge a collection fee of £29.95. Please contact us on 03456 100 344 and have your order number ready and we’ll try to resolve your issue.
What happens if you can’t repair my product in the future under guarantee? Will you replace it?
Your guarantee will align with our standard terms and conditions with a repair service initially being offered. If we aren’t able to repair your product, we can only offer a refund, not an exchange, due to the limited nature of our Outlet stock.
Can I apply for a PROTECT+ extended warranty?
Yes, as the product is as good as new, we can offer an extended warranty where available (on electrical products only).
Can I order a swatch of fabric?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide swatches for these products due to their limited availability and the possibility that they may sell out quickly. Also, some items may feature discontinued fabrics, meaning swatches may be unavailable.
Can I pay using Interest Free Credit, Interest Bearing Credit and ClearPay?Absolutely, you have the flexibility to choose from our range of payment options. Please note that these payment methods are available for Outlet products only when they are also offered for the equivalent full-price items.
Can I have a mixed basket?
No, as the outlet products are delivered from a separate John Lewis distribution centre, we’re unable to combine them with other products, so you would need to buy those separately.
Can I shop Outlet in John Lewis shops?
Our shops may have a select range of products, with availability varying by location and the time of your visit. You’ll find these items in the furniture section or among the large electrical appliances. A much larger selection is available at our Outlet Store in the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Swindon.
How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?
Like our main range products, delivery is £19.95 and items will be delivered by a John Lewis & Partners van. We aim to deliver from 7 working days, and the exact lead time we’ll offer you during checkout depends on your postcode and availability of delivery slots at that time. View more delivery information.
