We offer free one-to-one personal styling sessions in store and from the comfort of your own home through video call appointments. Your Personal Stylist can help you navigate all of our brands to find pieces that are perfect for you, whether you’re searching for something stand-out for a special occasion or refining your everyday wardrobe. VIRTUALPERSONAL STYLING

You can talk with a Personal Stylist for up to an hour free via video call from the comfort of your own home.

  • This is a great option if you want one-to-one advice but can’t get to your nearest shop.
  • Your Personal Stylist will select items to share with you based on an initial phone call or email.
  • They can also talk through your existing wardrobe, offer tips on how to style your clothes in different ways and help incorporate new pieces.
  • You’ll receive a personalised wish list so you can order any of the suggested products.
  • You can stay in touch with your Personal Stylist and ask questions via email.

Most importantly, we want you to feel inspired to create different looks with your current wardrobe or try a completely new outfit – there’s no minimum spend or obligation to buy.

IN-STOREPERSONAL STYLING

Your free appointment is completely tailored to you and will run for up to two hours.

  • Your Personal Stylist will call ahead of your appointment to chat through what you’re looking for.
  • You will have your own luxurious styling suite with a selection of outfits ready for you on arrival, and refreshments available from a glass of Prosecco to a cappuccino.
  • You can browse the shop floor for more options with your Personal Stylist or relax in The Style Studio while they find further pieces for you to try on.
  • There’s no obligation but of course you can buy any items you love on the day.
  • You can then stay in touch with your Personal Stylist after the appointment to ask any follow-up questions via email and receive further recommendations to add to your wishlist.

Most importantly, relax and enjoy it – there’s no minimum spend or obligation to buy during your session with us and you’re very welcome to book a follow-up.

They’re also ideal if you’re short on time and frankly haven’t got the inclination to scroll through endless products, hoping that something might catch your eye. Our stylists are experts in all the fashion that John Lewis has to offer, from brilliant basics to exciting new brands. Right down to whether you should size up or down for that particular denim brand to get those dream jeans you’ve been searching for.We’re also here to support where you’re at in life, right now. Maybe you’ve just embraced running and want to upgrade your gym kit? Or - congratulations! - you’re having a baby and would love some maternity pieces, and clever hacks for your existing wardrobe. Working from home, in need of a boost, going on holiday… wherever you’re at, we can help you get dressed for it.

Personal Styling - Our Safety Measures
OUR SAFETY MEASURES
  • You’ll be required to wear a mask (as will your Personal Stylist) during your appointment.
  • Please come alone unless you need assistance from someone else in your household. If you do, let your Personal Stylist know during your pre-appointment call or email.
  • Styling Rooms are cleaned daily by our Style Advisors and there is a one-hour gap between appointments to ensure they are thoroughly cleansed.
  • Unfortunately, at the moment we’re unable to offer refreshments during personal styling appointments or styling parties.
