Hideaway hinge
The Galaxy Z Fold 2’s Flex mode enables you to lock the screen at a variety of angles, thanks to Samsung’s state-of-the-art hinge design.

Super screens
Created with a Dynamic AMOLED 2x main display, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is able to deliver rich colours and multiple ways of working. Read your favourite websites or play games in full screen mode, or place the phone onto a desk, open up and use it like a laptop – the cleverly designed software will adapt to suit your requirements. Typing emails and blog posts, watching films or enjoying video chats has never been so easy.

Helpfully, the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s main screen emits less blue light, so you can watch films, read novels or websites and play for hours on end, whilst minimising eye strain. Additionally, this display detects what you’re doing and can alter the refresh rate – all to provide the best view and to help save battery life.

The front of the phone has its own expansive 6.2” display to give you loads of room to read, text or enjoy some gaming, one-handed – just like you might with a single-screened mobile phone.

Smart software
If you’ve opened an app on the front display, but want to see more, don’t worry – just unfold the device to see it on the bigger, main screen thanks to the optimised UI. The displays work seamlessly to maintain app continuity and for ease of use.

You can launch up to 3 apps simultaneously, and if you save the layout it’ll open the same way each time – there are even drag and drop options for you.

Shoot your way
With a 10MP front cover camera lens, a 10MP main screen camera, along with 12MP wide, 12MP ultra wide, and 12MP telephoto rear lenses, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 provides loads of shooting options for you. Thanks to the flip design, you can use both screens to make sure everyone approves the snap before committing, or use the split screen feature for better selfies – the days of mirror-selfie pictures are now numbered.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.
