With multiple ways to play, from six months babies are encouraged to use the single base box with lid, pushing the balls through the hole while on their tummies. This not only helps them strengthen their core and arm muscles in preparation for crawling, it also encourages persistence, with the smooth balls meeting resistance and requiring more pressure to pop through the hole. As your baby grows and their co-ordination develops, they can start to use the boxes for stacking, both inside and on top of each other, and once they can reach high enough, toddlers can create the tower and drop the balls through all the way from top to bottom.
