A lightweight non-stick saucepan and frying pan set from the Tefal Ingenio range of cookware. This set includes a 20cm saucepan, a 28cm frying pan, plus an Ingenio removable handle for use with each pan and other Ingenio cookware.
The range features a robust non-stick coating and Tefal's Signal™ indicator with a red hourglass that disappears to let you know when it's the right temperature for searing. The aluminium retains heat well and cooks evenly without hot or cold spots. The pans are suitable for all heat sources, including induction.
Designed for intensive cooking, Ingenio Eco Resist features an ultra-strong Titanium anti-scratch non-stick coating that's toxin-free and easy to wash by hand or safe to wash in the dishwasher.
The Tefal Ingenio range is a bit of a magician in the kitchen, turning frying pans into oven dishes, and saucepans into bakeware thanks to the removable handle design for easy storage. Brand information
In 1954, keen fisherman Marc Grégoire took his wife's advice and used the Teflon he had been applying onto his fishing gear to coat her kitchen pans. The results were brilliant: food residues that had meant arduous cleaning were now simply not there, or were easy to wipe away.
Two years later, Tefal was created to produce non-stick frying pans and it gradually expanded its range. Arguably it was the moment in 1961 that First Lady Jackie Kennedy was pictured holding a Tefal pan in a US magazine that brought the brand to worldwide attention.
