Established in 1999, The London Honey Company is dedicated to the production of extraordinary British honey and is passionate in the pursuit of the continued craft of beekeeping, its traditions and methods.

As migratory bee farmers, we travel to the ends of the British countryside in search of some of the most obscure nectar sources our country has to offer. We believe, it is this dedication to nature that creates the glorious range of honey we are known for today.

Borage Honey:

The fields of Chelmsford and Colchester in Essex are a sea of blue during the month of July, a gentle hum can be heard as our bees work all day visiting one of the British countryside's most prolific and beautiful crops.

A distinctly prized British honey, Borage creates the palest purest honeycomb. The almost transparent colour is a sign of its exceptional quality and mono-floral nature and is prized for its delicate medicinal and herbal green notes. Highly versatile, we adore it in herbal teas, at breakfast time, alongside fresh goats cheese and in salad dressings.

Kent Creamed Honey:

Our beehives are situated in a beautiful old Kent country estate, providing a plentiful environment of nectar sources during the essential spring months for our colonies.

British spring flowers have a higher level of natural glucose to fructose in contrast to classic summer honey, and so traditionally, spring honey is slowly churned and creamed by hand with a paddle, kept at cool temperatures helping to stabilise this early season honey.

The result is a beautifully creamy and smooth honey with a buttery consistency, spreading perfectly on toast whilst bursting with sweet natural flavour. Delicious in fruit smoothies or for making homemade honey granola.

Includes a wooden honey dipper.
