This water-free solution contains a 2% concentration of an advanced retinoid active complex called Granactive Retinoid, an active technology from Grant Industries.

It is a solubilised system of Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), a non-prescription ester of all-trans direct retinoic acid which offers similar visible results as topical retinol, without the irritation associated with retinoids (including retinol). This formulation targets signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, as well as textural irregularities. It also offers hydrating benefits due to the presence of Squalane.

Granactive Retinoid complexes cannot be compared directly with retinol itself in terms of concentration because they include a different retinoid molecule, in a similar way that Retinol cannot be compared with Retinoic Acid in terms of concentration.
