The Swirl series from Tom Dixon is characterised by stacked geometric forms that are more than simply functional items, they're pieces of sculpture.
Powder residue from the marble industry is recycled and mixed with pigment and resin to create material blocks that are sawn and sliced into their final shapes. This gives the marbling finish, substantial weight and smooth texture, all signatures of the Swirl range.
As a result of this manufacturing process there will be slight variations from one piece to the next.
