ZWILLING has developed a new premium steel and used it for the first time in the new Tanrei knife series. 101 layers of specially developed premium steel in a Damascus design encase the FC 63 core for superior hardness and edge retention of all the knives in the series. This achieves a Rockwell Hardness rating of 63 HRC, guaranteeing incredible hardness.

Each knife has a unique Damascus pattern, making every knife one of a kind. The range features an elegant triple-rivet handle made from high-quality Micarta, and a slim bolster, ideal for Asian cutting techniques.
