An ideal choice for anyone stepping up from their smart phone or compact camera, this highly portable DSLR is easy and enjoyable to use, and lets budding photographers take a more creative approach. A supremely light DSLR with movable touch screen, the EOS 250D has a classic feel and intuitive design. The large 24.1MP sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus and the Canon DIGIC 8 processor deliver superb photos and 4K UHD video, with effortless connection to your smart device thanks to both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This kit includes two zoom lenses for a comprehensive choice of shooting options.
24.1MP sensor & DIGIC 8 processor
Inside a light and portable body, the EOS 250D includes a 24.1 megapixel sensor for high resolution photos, processed by Canon’s DIGIC 8 engine, for pin-sharp and colour-rich results on the move. With a maximum ISO of 25,600, it takes equally fine pictures in low light. Rapid-fire 5 frames-per-second continuous shooting allows you to select just the right split-second composition.
4K UHD movies
Capture the moving image in 4K ultra high definition detail, which looks great on large-screen TVs. 4K Frame Grab lets you extract a still image from your filmed footage, while 4K timelapse easily creates stunning sped-up footage.
Optical viewfinder and Dual Pixel AF
Its optical viewfinder gives a bright, clear, real-time view of the world. Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus captures super-fast and sharp results, when shooting in Live View mode.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
With built-in Wi-Fi, using the Canon Camera Connect app (iOS and Android) an 'always-on' low energy Bluetooth connection with your smart device means you can send your work to your phone or tablet instantly and share your latest pictures and movies with your friends straight away. Or even use your mobile device as a control to operate the camera remotely.
Ideal for photographers wanting to begin exploring DSLR shooting, its guided interface teaches the user how camera settings work as you shoot. So your skills and knowledge increase, and Creative Assist mode easily expands your creative touch.
Light and portable
The 250D is designed to give you the creative benefits of DSLR shooting in a superbly light and compact body, so it’s suitable for travel photography. A vari-angle screen allows you to shoot from more unorthodox angles to add more dynamic perspectives to your work, and with touch functionality, it feels and responds like your smart phone screen.
Double zoom lens kit
The two included lenses open up a huge range of shooting options. The EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III all-round lens is equally good for wide angle landscapes and close-up portraits. Meanwhile the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III telephoto offers greater scope of focal lengths for zero-ing in on far off subjects and photographing nature without disturbance.
Lenses & Cases
One of the biggest advantages of this camera is the sheer shooting flexibility on offer. You can use additional lenses to take wide-angle, telephoto, or close-up shots to suit just about any situation. The shorter the focal length (measured in mm), the wider the view will be – the longer the focal length, the more telescopic the picture. With a selection of interchangeable lenses at your disposal, the creative possibilities are endless. Click here to browse our selection.
