Several processes have been combined to give the body its gold-coloured satin finish, and its fittings are coated with three microns of gold, creating a magnificent sparkle. The golden, satin finish appearance created by micro-bead blasting and electro-chemical treatment. The push-button and clip are plated with 2-3 microns of gold.
Its unique presentation box is inspired by the ingots of gold that lie stacked in strongly protected vaults. Reflecting the design of the pen, this rectangular packaging will permanently preserve the imprint of the hexagonal 849™.
