Tory Burch is an established American luxury fashion brand – beauty only came into the mix in 2020, when the brand joined forces with Shiseido to launch Tory Burch Beauty. And what a result. The Essence of Dreams fragrance collection is a reminder of the power of dreams, and how together, we can visualise a brighter future – one with more love, freedom, joy, magic and peace. Here are my thoughts on each fragrance.
What does Tory Burch Electric Sky smell like?
Put simply, it’s refreshing and clean. It’s not super strong, which is a good thing, and it has an upbeat energy about it. This fragrance definitely evokes a freeing summer feeling – think warm breeze and blue skies.
Key ingredients/notes: cactus flower, lavender and wood
When to wear: during the day over the summer months

What does Tory Burch Cosmic Wood smell like?
This woody, floral scent oozes sophistication and femininity. It’s strong, so ideal for an evening, yet still fresh and wearable. I felt confident wearing this fragrance and feel the woody warmth makes it perfect for autumn.
Key ingredients/notes: spicy cardamom, jasmine and vetiver
When to wear: in the evening on date night, or during the day during autumn

What does Tory Burch Sublime Rose smell like?
I love rose scents, but appreciate they are incredibly common in the world of fragrance. So how does Sublime Rose compare? In my opinion, it’s reimagined the classic – the wood undertone makes it stronger, and less sweet, creating a truly beautiful perfume.
Key ingredients/notes: rose, blackcurrant and warm wood
When to wear: wedding day, romantic weekend…or just every day. It’s that wearable.

What does Tory Burch Divine Moon smell like?
Inspired by Tory's garden in Antigua, Divine Moon is a white floral fragrance that smells unique yet familiar. Lightweight and airy, as well as fresh florals I immediately picked up the sweetness from the honey. Very memorable.

When to wear: daytime, preferably when it’s sunny
The dream: peace
What does Tory Burch Mystic Geranium smell like?
This scent is super unique, I really don’t think there’s anything similar on the market. You definitely feel the joy when wearing it. Light and fresh, it almost smells a little soapy and powdery (in the best way).
Key ingredients/notes: fresh bergamot, aromatic geranium and musk
When to wear: it’s an essential daytime accessory that will cue compliments
