Pride - Proud to be ourselves
Olivia Adams,-Senior Editor

Free to be ourselves. Whoever we are. Whoever we love. We’re celebrating Pride and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

At John Lewis, we take pride in being a long-standing supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community – not only during Pride Month, but all 365 days of the year. Because we know we’re at our best when we have the freedom and acceptance to be ourselves, however we identify and whoever we love. That’s why we continue to celebrate Pride – in 2025 and every other year – and support the LGBTQIA+ community, both within John Lewis and beyond.

We are proud of our Partners

The Partnership was founded with the principles of humanity and equality for all at its heart. Our LGBTQIA+ Network, Pride in the Partnership (PiP), is an active community with more than 1,000 members. The network is focused on enriching the happiness of Partners through providing a safe space for members to share their experiences. We’re passionate about making sure all our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies feel visible, respected and supported at all times.

Belonging, all year round

We support Partners through Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) training to drive equality and respect within the workplace and in-store. We recognise the importance of allyship; in August we launched a new learning programme to support all Partners to become an effective and authentic ally.
