The reimagined Vista V3 puts comfort and style on the baby transport agenda. Are you coming along for the ride?

Shopping for a pram is no walk in the park (that comes when you have the pram). There are so many choices, features, colours…it’s overwhelming. As a parent of two, I know that trying to figure out which pram is best for your baby is a daunting task filled with hours of research, so I was keen to be given the opportunity to try UPPAbaby’s brand-new Vista V3 for my youngest. With upgraded features focused on safety, comfort and convenience, it sounded right up my street. So, how did it perform in everyday life?

What is the UPPAbaby Vista V3?

The latest edition from the UPPAbaby family, the Vista V3 is designed to fit every growing family - from first child to last. How? Well, starting as a single pushchair, the expansion options means it easily transforms to accommodate up to three children. Plus a carrycot is included.

What makes the UPPAbaby Vista V3 special?

For me, it's the all-weather comfort toddler seat and the ventilated carrycot. Designed to cater to the warmer weather (come on, we do get some), this carrycot is a real game changer for the comfort of little ones.

Similar to the carrycot, there are zips at the front, back and bottom of the toddler seat to allow ventilation on the hottest days. Plus a removable insert reveals a mesh backing, which allows the flow of air to come through. There is also no need to purchase an umbrella add-on like most pushchair brands, as both the carrycot and toddler seat have extendable hoods to cover them.

So when I say UPPAbaby has thought of everything, I mean everything. You can tell the founders are parents – you’re even covered for the evening strolls, with integrated reflectors on the wheels for added safety, and the magnetic buckle on the harness of the seat unit makes access so easy. Hats off to team UPPAbaby.

How easy is the UPPAbaby Vista V3 to use?

Once it’s unboxed and clicked together (which couldn’t have been easier, by the way), you’re good to go. My house backs onto woods and my eldest daughter who’s four is always keen to explore it. This means I need a pram which is versatile across all terrains. The upgraded suspension and the large wheels make this a smooth ride that’s also easy to navigate.

The height of the pushchair is an added bonus. An SUV of prams, it’s perfect for me being a taller parent, and it also has a luxury extendable leatherette handlebar for extra comfort.

Is the UPPAbaby Vista V3 worth it?

Honestly and truly, yes. The price tag reflects the safety, comfort and convenience of the brand new model, and if you’re planning on purchasing a pushchair that can grow with your family then this is a fantastic investment.

There are so many perks to this pushchair, I particularly love how easy it is to fold up and down – it will even stand upright when folded for easy storage. Also unlike many others, the transformations – like detaching the bassinet and adjusting the recline on the toddler seat – can both be effortlessly one-handed.

It really is a great pushchair – a premium ride for all weather! It’s super easy to navigate on different terrain and the extra-large basket is a winner for all that baggage that comes everywhere with you.

And I’ll leave you with this fun fact. The colourways are all named after children of the UPPAbaby employees. Love it.
