Growing up with fitness DVDs (rather than apps) and regular watches (not wearables), are core memories for some. They are also evidence of how much fitness has changed with advances in technology – such as those made by Peloton.

The brand first shot to fame in 2012 by bringing a studio-quality workout to busy people; its stationary exercise bike, complete with technology, meant you could watch, be immersed and take part in your favourite spin class from the comfort of your home or office. Fast forward to today, and Peloton has millions of members and expansive equipment. Its next launch, though, is the biggest in the company’s history.

The Peloton Cross Training Series features five new pieces: the Cross Training Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, and Row+ (the latter two are solely available in the US and Canada for now). This is Peloton’s most elevated fitness equipment to date, designed to help you reach (and maintain) your fitness and lifestyle goals. How does it work? You buy the equipment outright, and then pay for the All-Access Membership at £45 per month. Read on for a breakdown of the new range’s benefits.

Peloton IQ: A smarter way to train

Peloton IQ is the fitness brand’s AI system (it wouldn’t be 2026 without mentioning AI). All Peloton members benefit from Peloton IQ, which means they receive personalised guidance and actionable recommendations, but the Bike+ goes one step further. Its new, integrated camera tracks your movements, counts reps, provides real-time feedback and form correction, suggests weights and recommends weekly workout routines based on your goals, lifestyle and workout history. Basically, it’s a digital personal trainer that tells you how to lift strong and still safely. Impressive.

The Peloton Cross Training Bike+

Peloton’s most advanced bike comes with speakers featuring a woofer and expert tuning by Sonos, so you can listen to your favourite tunes with an immersive, studio-like experience. What’s more, hands-free control means you can adjust the workout or pause it with voice commands. Just like the Bike, there’s a swivel screen (although this one is larger, at 23.8”) and the comfy new saddle, but with Bike+ there’s also a phone tray, as well as an integrated three-speed fan for a full Beyoncé moment.

The Peloton Cross Training Tread

If you want to get your steps in without facing the cold, this training treadmill is the answer. Along with the 21.5” swivel screen and a powerful front-facing speaker, this state-of-the-art treadmill features Auto-Incline, which means you can automatically follow instructor cues with just one tap (and not mess around making adjustments mid-stride). Plus, you can enjoy 150cm of running space in a still-compact footprint, and align your stride at a glance with the red centreline.

The Peloton Cross Training Bike

The new model features a 21.5” swivel screen, which can rotate 360 degrees so you can move off your bike and into yoga, Pilates, strength training and so on. There are also improved audio speakers, faster Wi-Fi and upgraded Bluetooth for clearer, more dynamic audio during every workout. And perhaps best of all, an upgraded seat: a redesigned saddle with enhanced cushioning, delivering a more supportive and balanced ride experience. Comfort and style? Yes please.
