Returning a gift

IF THE GIFT WAS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT PURCHASED AFTER THE 1ST OCTOBER 2021 YOU CAN STILL RETURN UP UNTIL THE 28TH JANUARY 2022

Bring the item to one of our shops within 35 days of purchase and we'll either:

  • refund you through a gift card
  • exchange the item for something else

We are unable to offer you an exchange or refund if you do not have a receipt or delivery note.

Let the Partner at the till know it was a gift when you are returning or exchanging the item.

Please note if you send the gift back to us we can only refund the original purchaser.

Items must:

  • be unused and in their original condition (including all labels and tags intact)
  • not contain personal data or have been manufacturer-registered (for phones, tablets, computers, etc)

For damaged or items not working properly, please visit a John Lewis shop for support or ask the purchaser to contact us to agree a resolution. When they contact they can also give you permission to agree a resolution if easier.
