First launched in the 1930s, the elegant Bernadotte collection from Georg Jensen has come to symbolise Scandinavian design and craftsmanship. The first pieces were designed by Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte who was influenced by functionalism, a design movement which held function and practicality as its guiding principle.
