The creation: The Ombres d'Hermès eyeshadow palettes offer a wide range of options for creating a natural, intense, or sophisticated gaze. Each quartet presents a trio of shades in a colour gradient along with a fourth, more vivid and striking shade for extra accents and emphasis. Each can be used on its own or in combination to create subtle harmonies or interactions of shadows.
The colour: A soft and luminous harmony of beiges and browns, including a beige satin base to even out the eyelids, a warm matte brown to emphasise depth, and two dashes of radiance in pink and copper tones for delicate highlights.
The product: These eyeshadow palettes comprise at least 89% ingredients of natural origin. The soft, light texture of the eyeshadows makes it easy to blend using your fingertips or a brush, for buildable intensity and a long-wear finish. Each finish is inspired by a different type of silk: matte by chiffon, satin by silk twill, and gloss by silk lame.
The object: Circles alternate with squares in Pierre Hardy's design for the eyeshadow quartet palettes. The case is protected by a canvas pouch and an orange box, and comes with an applicator brush with a lacquered wood handle.
The ethics: To refill the Ombres d'Hermès eyeshadow palette case, simply remove and replace the powder pan. Refills are sold separately, as quartets.
How to use:
- Using the l'Ombreur brush, start by applying the neutral shade to the eyelid up to the crease
- Using the Le traceur brush, apply the brown shade tightly along the lash line to intensify the gaze
- Use the applicator to illuminate the gaze by adding a touch of radiance to the inner corner of the eye or the centre of the upper eyelid up to the crease
